That's really interesting! It really amazes me how society persists in giving inanimate objects genders.
ReplyDeleteI find this article super interesting! Just today, I had a boy ask me, "is it okay if I wear a pink shirt?" My answer was automatically yes but as I ponder that experience and think about this article, I find it funny that the definition can change so much over the years and I also find it comical that people get so much hyper or claim so much just from a specific color being worn. If a girl wears boy, by no means is she thought of as more manly or trying to dress like a boy, but somehow for boys today the hesitation still arises.
